WHY YOU’RE GROWING OLD SO FAST!
Aging is one thing everybody dreads, we want to advance in age without necessarily growing old, totally dependent and moribund. As we age, our skin wrinkles, energy levels drop, sleep becomes less pleasant, chronic illnesses (Hypertension, Diabetes, cancers) set in, memory declines
We are made up of Trillions of cells and the health of any individual is a reflection of the wellbeing of all component cells.
Persistent exposure of our cells to toxins, alcohol, heavy metals and radiation, and also long-term emotional and physical stress, all deplete our natural antioxidants (our protective chemicals), especially Glutathione, making advancement in age apparent.
Subtle damages to cells over the years by free radicals and other factors lead to oxidative stress, which is the single most important common factor for aging and also the onset of most chronic illnesses. With increase in age, the damage caused by these factors on our cells begin to tell on our organs. An important exception to this is the possibility of inheritance of diseases from parents. Although free radical damage doesn’t play a direct role, it will definitely accelerate the process and even make it worse.
There are two broad ways of staying young; reduce fast food, alcohol, exposure to rays from the sun and smart phones (and other gadgets), consume good food, and exercise frequently. The second seems straightforward, but almost impossible; INCREASE YOUR GLUTATHIONE level!!
Models and movie stars understand the role of Glutathione in staying young and keeping skin wrinkling far away, so they take the injection twice or more weekly at over N100, 000/dose. This is crazy, you may think, and I totally agree with you. However, this is an investment into their business, because showbiz requires a fresh and ever-radiant skin.
Glutathione is our natural antioxidant that does the dirty job of taking care of toxins and other harmful substances. Its levels begin to drop at 20 years of age, and by age 50, the blood level of this miracle molecule would have gone down by at least 50%. It is no surprise that most chronic illnesses, like Hypertension, would have set in at that age, with the signs of aging clearly established. Life expectancy is currently placed at less than 50 years for the average Nigerian, and the reason is obvious. Industrialization and technological advancement have not been accurately matched by healthy food and dietary supplements to offer protection. Things will only get worse as the years go by, however, a breakthrough method has been discovered to increase Glutathione effectively, hereby slowing down the effects of aging significantly.
